Technical Product Manager - Medium Voltage Drives

ABB is a global company focused on industrial products and solutions. The role is within ABB's Motion Business and involves technical ownership of a global Medium Voltage Drives product family.

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Electrical Drives, Automation, Power Systems, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in Product Engineering, Product Management, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Engineering Change Management, or a similar role.
• Strong technical understanding of Medium Voltage Drives, power electronics, electrical systems, or related industrial products.
• Experience managing products throughout their lifecycle including maintenance, engineering changes, continuous improvement, and optimization.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Familiarity with industry standards for electrical equipment and power electronics such as IEC and UL.
• Experience working with ERP and PLM systems; knowledge of SAP and Windchill is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify root causes and collaborate effectively in global teams.
• Fluent in English and Polish.

• Owning the technical lifecycle roadmap of a Medium Voltage Drives product family and aligning priorities with Product Management and global teams.
• Driving product improvements, engineering changes, quality actions, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Acting as the technical focal point for product maintenance, complex technical issues, testing programs, and product performance.
• Managing product releases, configuration management, and implementation of engineering changes with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
• Leading continuous improvement activities focused on quality, reliability, manufacturability, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.
• Supporting product sustainability initiatives, component obsolescence management, and lifecycle risk mitigation.
• Managing product data, configurations, and technical inputs for configuration and engineering tools.
• Performing root cause analysis and collaborating with global cross-functional teams to deliver effective technical solutions.
