Ansible Automation Developer

• 5+ years of experience in IT Automation, including significant experience in Ansible.
• Excellent knowledge and experience with Ansible playbook development, structuring complex playbooks and roles with extensive use of variables, modules, loops, plugins, templates, etc.
• Experience with configuration and management of resources in the Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) and custom module development using Python.
• Good knowledge and experience in infrastructure automation covering servers, databases, storage, network, etc.
• Experience with configuration management, automating application deployment, and security/compliance automation like patching, configuration hardening, and certificate renewals.
• Understanding and experience with Git and version control systems.
• Experience integrating Ansible with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins and Bamboo.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and using tools such as Jira.
• Ability to write clear and detailed documentation.

• Work with the Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) to provide monitoring and logging platforms supporting stakeholders.
• Develop new automated solutions.
• Develop complex Ansible roles and playbooks to automate tasks across multiple environments, systems, and applications.
• Create robust, scalable, and dynamic playbooks and roles using advanced Ansible features, following coding standards and guidelines.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize automation solutions.
• Write clear and detailed documentation for developed processes.
