Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Motomat Group sp. z o. o. is expanding its IT team to support infrastructure and production environments development. The company operates its own server infrastructure and colocated environments in multiple data centers utilizing VMware and Proxmox VE technologies. They are developing their own cloud environment and infrastructure prepared for automation and DevOps.

• Several years of experience in IT infrastructure administration
• Very good knowledge of Linux
• Very good knowledge of TCP/IP
• Practical knowledge of routing, VLAN, NAT, DNS, and DHCP
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and site-to-site tunnels
• Experience with VMware, Proxmox VE, or other virtualization environments based on KVM
• Experience with physical servers and data center infrastructure
• Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring
• Experience with backup, HA, and business continuity solutions
• Ability to diagnose complex system and network problems
• Knowledge of Bash and basic automation with Python
• Independently designing and implementing infrastructure solutions

• Administration and development of server infrastructure
• Administration of Linux systems
• Maintaining and migrating existing VMware environments to Proxmox VE
• Administration and development of Proxmox VE environment post-migration
• Configuration of routers, firewalls, switches, and other network devices
• Configuring and maintaining routing, VLAN, VPN, and site-to-site tunnels
• Maintaining communication between multiple locations, data centers, and client/partner environments
• Preparing server and network infrastructure for new projects and DevOps requirements
• Configuring new servers from bare metal to ready environments
• Working with colocated infrastructure in data centers
• Infrastructure monitoring and incident response
• Troubleshooting complex system and network issues
• Maintaining and developing backup, HA, and disaster recovery solutions
• Automating routine administrative tasks
• Documenting architecture and configurations
• Collaborating with CTO, developers, and DevOps for new environment design
