Qt / C++ Developer

Somco Software is a widely recognized Qt consulting company specializing mainly in projects for the medical industry, as well as automotive, electronics, and IoT. Their projects target embedded boards, desktops, and mobiles. The company is organized around values such as people, professionalism, and ethics.

• 6+ years of commercial experience in C++ development
• At least 5 years of hands-on expertise with Qt framework
• Daily use of Qt Quick and QML
• Strong expertise in PySide 6
• Proficiency with CMake
• Familiarity with new C++ standards
• Experience on embedded platforms using Qt
• Knowledge of communication protocols: Bluetooth, MQTT, OPC UA, Serial
• Ability to self-organize and discipline
• Fluent in English (C1) and native in Polish
• Currently based in Poland (mandatory)
• Availability to work hybrid near Warsaw (office 2 days per week)

Nice to have:

• Experience in Rust
• Experience with electronics, micro-controllers, bare-metal programming
• Experience with 3D technologies such as Qt 3D, Qt Quick 3D, Unreal Engine
• Experience with OpenCV and computer vision libraries
• Knowledge of native iOS and/or Android technologies

• Develop software using Qt, QML, and C++
• Work on embedded platforms, desktops, and mobile projects
• Use various communication techniques like Bluetooth, MQTT, OPC UA, Serial
• Collaborate in a hybrid work model with availability to work from office near Warsaw 2 days per week
• Maintain punctuality, high quality, and effective team communication

Candidates must be currently based in Poland due to legal, logistical, and team collaboration reasons. Availability to work from the office near Warsaw 2 days per week is required.
