Medicover is seeking an experienced Tech Lead for the Sports & Fitness Systems Department to lead the development of the main operational system for Medicover's sports services. The role involves contributing to the technological growth of a key platform supporting the management of Medicover's network of fitness clubs. Candidates will eventually join the maintenance and development team within the Sports and Fitness Systems Department.
Wymagania
- Minimum 5 years experience in designing and developing enterprise systems.
- Minimum 3 years in roles such as Tech Lead, Solution Architect, or Lead Developer.
- Experience modernizing and transforming monolithic systems to microservices architecture (preferred).
- Experience leading technology initiatives for high-availability systems with large user bases.
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture design.
- Experience designing APIs including REST, event-driven architecture, and messaging.
- Practical knowledge of public cloud, preferably Azure.
- Experience with containerization and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD.
- Ability to define architectural and quality standards.
- Experience with relational databases and modernization strategies in microservice environments.
- Knowledge of system observability (monitoring, logging, tracing).
- Ability to assess technology and security risks.
- Leadership skills for managing technical teams without direct line responsibility.
- Experience coordinating multiple vendors and enforcing technical standards.
- Decision-making ability for architectural choices and building consensus.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Mentoring mindset and focus on team development and quality culture.
Nice to have:
- Experience in fitness, healthcare, retail, or service networks.
- Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer, or TOGAF.
- Experience migrating to event-driven architecture.
- Knowledge of FinOps practices and cloud cost optimization.
Obowiązki
- Define and implement technology strategy for the fitness club operations application.
- Lead transformation of system architecture from monolith to microservices.
- Design scalable, reliable, secure architectures meeting business requirements.
- Develop and oversee execution of technology roadmaps.
- Enhance application cybersecurity by implementing best practices.
- Define architectural, technological, and quality standards for development teams.
- Oversee code quality, software development processes, and CI/CD practices.
- Coordinate work of two external IT vendor teams, including planning, prioritization, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with Product Owner, business analysts, corporate architects, and infrastructure and security teams.
- Support development teams in solving complex technical problems and key architectural decisions.
- Manage technical debt and initiate modernization actions.
- Analyze and recommend new technologies and solutions to improve platform efficiency and stability.
- Participate in product development planning and technology initiative estimation.
- Foster a technical culture based on collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
