Embedded Linux Engineer (Yocto)

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial experience in embedded software development.
• Commercial experience with the Yocto Project.
• Good knowledge of Embedded Linux and Linux system architecture.
• Proficient in C and C++.
• Experience with BitBake, recipes, layers, and build configuration.
• Understanding of Linux system architecture and custom Linux distributions.
• Experience with debugging and troubleshooting embedded Linux systems.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Disciplined, independent, and able to self-organize.
• Good command of English.
• Currently based in Poland due to legal, logistical and team collaboration reasons.
• Availability to work from the office in Warsaw 2 days per week.

Nice to have:

• Experience with BSP development and customization.
• Experience with Linux kernel configuration.
• Knowledge of device trees and bootloaders.
• Experience with CMake and CI/CD environments.
• Knowledge of Qt/QML and experience working with embedded boards.
• Experience in medical, automotive, electronics, or IoT projects.

• Develop and maintain embedded software using the Yocto Project and Embedded Linux.
• Work with BitBake, recipes, layers, and Yocto build configuration.
• Debug and troubleshoot embedded Linux systems.
• Build custom Linux distributions.
• Collaborate in an office environment 2 days per week in Warsaw as part of a hybrid work schedule.
