Senior Software Engineer (PM)

The role is for an international client and involves long-term cooperation in a fully remote work model under a B2B contract.

• Minimum 5 years of practical experience developing software using Java or Python.
• Minimum 4 years of experience processing structured data including SQL, ETL/ELT, or data pipelines.
• Minimum 4 years working with relational databases and SQL.
• Practical experience in several projects involving creation or integration of REST API / web services.
• Minimum 3 years experience with Git, including branching, pull/merge requests, and code reviews.
• Minimum 3 years experience with automated testing.
• Minimum 3 years experience working with containerized applications.
• Minimum 4 years experience in Agile teams, using Scrum or Kanban.
• Minimum 2 years experience in project management.
• Minimum 2 years experience leading teams.
• Very good knowledge of project management methodologies.
• Very good command of English and German languages at minimum C1 level.

Nice to have:

• Minimum 3 years experience with Apache Spark / Spark SQL or comparable Big Data technologies.
• Experience designing and implementing complex data pipelines.
• Experience validating and transforming data based on rules.
• Minimum 3 years experience with Kubernetes, Cloud or Private Cloud.
• Experience with CI/CD, test automation, and QA.
• Experience designing software and system architecture.
• Minimum 2 years experience with Angular or TypeScript.
• Experience working on large international projects.

• Design, develop, and maintain applications and software solutions using Java or Python.
• Design and develop ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
• Work with large data sets using Apache Spark / Spark SQL.
• Design and integrate REST API and web services.
• Develop backend solutions and participate in full stack work.
• Create and develop user interfaces using Angular / TypeScript.
• Design software architecture, interfaces, and modular system solutions.
• Work with relational databases and SQL.
• Create and maintain automated tests including unit, integration, and API tests.
• Work with containerized applications and environments like Kubernetes, Cloud / Private Cloud.
• Collaborate in creating and maintaining CI/CD processes and ensuring software quality.
• Participate in project management, work planning, and team coordination.
• Lead a team and support its effective organization.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders in an international environment.
