Global Cyber Controls Administrator (based in Poland)

• 1-3 years of experience in Systems Administration, network administration, or cybersecurity/firewall administration.
• Working knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
• Experience or exposure to configuring and monitoring enterprise firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto Networks, CheckPoint, Fortinet, Cisco).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows-based server and endpoint platforms and basic Azure AD and GCP security systems.
• Exposure to SIEM platforms and log monitoring principles.
• Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills; ability to follow security protocols and procedures.
• Relevant university degree or technical diploma.
• Entry-level industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, Cisco CCNA, NSE, Palo Alto, Microsoft Security operations, or Google Cloud Platform security are highly regarded.

• Administer Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) and Web Application Firewalls (WAF) including Palo Alto, Cisco, and Checkpoint.
• Implement, modify, and maintain firewall rules and policies under supervision.
• Support administration and health-checks of endpoint controls such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) and Cisco Umbrella.
• Monitor firewall logs, SIEM dashboards, and network traffic for threat detection; respond to alerts and escalate issues.
• Assist in troubleshooting firewall, proxy, and intrusion prevention connectivity issues.
• Generate and maintain activity reports and documentation on firewall operations.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application specialists across global teams.
• Apply technical cyber risk frameworks including MITRE ATT&CK and NIST CSF as directed.
