Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (Python/Node.js, React)

The client is a leading provider of vehicle lifecycle solutions headquartered in Chicago. Their platform connects a network of over 350 insurance companies, 24,000 repair facilities, hundreds of parts suppliers, and various third-party data and service providers to enhance productivity and deliver better experiences for end consumers.

• Extensive professional expertise in Python, Node.js and proven experience with modern frontend frameworks (React.js, Vue.js, or Next.js)
• Ability to design and deliver scalable, high-performance applications with clean, maintainable code
• Experience contributing to architecture and design including architecture patterns, reliability, and scaling
• Deep understanding of API development, microservices, and system integration
• Experience building secure and user-focused web interfaces with attention to UX patterns and best practices
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud services (preferably AWS) and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL)
• Strong sense of ownership, leadership mindset, and ability to guide other engineers
• Collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving and communication in distributed teams

Nice to have:

• Experience with architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack web applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security
• Implement new features and enhancements in a well-tested, maintainable, and efficient way
• Collaborate with Product managers and UX designers to create intuitive, responsive, and accessible interfaces
• Review, analyze, and implement technical solutions to meet business requirements, resolving issues and bugs
• Contribute to architectural decisions, API design, and system integrations
• Provide technical leadership to the engineering team by guiding design discussions, performing code reviews, and supporting continuous improvement
• Participate in task estimation, prioritization, and planning aligned with engineering processes
