Development Lead

Goelett is part of the S4BT Group, supporting 500k+ business users in the travel industry with an online booking tool for corporations and large organizations.

• Experience in agile product development environment.
• At least 3 years of team management and/or system design experience.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent education or experience.
• Extensive knowledge of backend technologies: C#, .Net, Entity Framework, SQL.
• Extensive knowledge of frontend technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SCSS, Angular JS, Angular.
• Experience with tools such as Visual Studio, MS SQL Server, Azure DevOps, Azure Cloud, Docker, Redis.
• Knowledge in software design and architecture, software testing, system integration, and system administration.
• Working knowledge of continuous integration / continuous delivery.
• Understanding of information security and privacy.
• Familiarity with product management, UX/UI design, IT service management.
• Strong collaboration skills and customer obsession.
• Agile expertise, systems thinking, and knowledge of the “Working Backwards” concept.

• Own end-to-end product development for the squad by designing, guiding, and delivering features based on user needs.
• Lead the Value Stream, aligning with group engineering and product standards.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to set goals, manage sprints, drive team metrics, and mentor developers.
• Work closely with QA teams to ensure continuous delivery and rapid deployment cycles.
• Be accountable for delivery metrics such as cycle time, release quality, and customer adoption.
• Fix bugs, analyze root causes, and resolve technical debt as well as security, scalability, and performance issues.
• Provide architectural guidance, design system components, prepare technical specifications, and develop testing strategies.
• Perform technology analysis, proof-of-concepts, and system evaluations to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Deploy and scale solutions ensuring seamless product deployment and future growth.
• Foster best practices, share knowledge, and develop team skills to enhance velocity and customer value.
