Senior Test Automation Engineer

The role is within a high-traffic retail / e-commerce infrastructure project. The company operates in the retail sector, focusing on advanced QA practices for enterprise integration points.

• Proven daily hands-on experience using AI developer agents and coding environments such as Cursor, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or Google Antigravity.
• Core technology stack includes Java, JUnit, Cucumber (Gherkin syntax), deep experience with SOAP protocol and API testing.
• Experience scaling test frameworks and integrating test execution into CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Continuous Integration tools like GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with enterprise test management tools such as Jira and Xray.
• Skills in relational database querying with Oracle SQL.
• Experience with workflow automation platforms like n8n.

• Utilize AI coding tools to analyze requirements, write spec files, generate test code, and autonomously debug and refactor.
• Design and implement end-to-end integration test suites using Java, JUnit, and Cucumber/Gherkin focusing on SOAP web services.
• Enhance automated testing architectures to support AI-assisted code generation in modern CI/CD workflows.
• Expand test coverage for complex business flows, optimize execution, and integrate verification in build workflows.
