Tech Lead (f/m/d)

Hi, we are Ten Square Games, a gaming company focused on mobile outdoor experiences with hits such as Fishing Clash. We have 77 million registered players in 2024 and 300+ employees. We are growing and prioritize technical quality and engineering culture.

• Good knowledge of modern Unity features including URP, Addressables, UI Toolkit, Job System, and Burst Compiler
• Solid understanding of C# and .NET, including memory management and async programming
• Experience designing scalable and maintainable architectures for mobile F2P games
• Familiarity with Android- and iOS-specific requirements like ANRs, crash rates, and SDK deprecation deadlines
• Strong drive for continuous learning and improvement

Nice to have:

• Experience in live mobile games
• Strong understanding of performance optimization and production environments
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence

• Own engineering standards and technical quality across the game and team
• Drive technical excellence through maintainable architecture, clean code, performance optimization, and best practices
• Improve technical KPIs such as stability, performance, memory usage, and crash rates
• Identify technical debt, risks, dependencies, and maintainability concerns; proactively drive improvements
• Decide on technical implementation approaches within product and delivery constraints
• Review technical proposals and guide implementations for quality, scalability, and maintainability
• Support production stability and troubleshoot complex issues
• Mentor and coach engineers at different seniority levels
• Promote engineering best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning
• Support hiring and onboarding of engineers
• Partner with Product, PMs, Producers, QA on technical execution and game optimization
• Communicate technical risks, trade-offs, and recommendations to stakeholders
• Collaborate with other Tech Leads to share knowledge and follow guidelines
