Java Developer

• Minimum 7 years of commercial experience with Java, including projects of high scale or technical complexity.
• Strong practical knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, REST API, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining systems based on microservice architectures.
• Good knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and communication between distributed system components.
• Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, Helm, Git, and Maven.
• Familiarity with unit testing including JUnit.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
• Ability to analyze technical and performance problems and propose business-appropriate solutions.
• Practical experience using AI tools supporting the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level.

Nice to have:

• Experience in retail or e-commerce projects.
• Experience with pricing systems or omnichannel process support solutions.
• Experience developing large-scale systems with high performance requirements.

• Participate in developing pricing solutions supporting product price management in retail and e-commerce environments.
• Design and develop backend solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and optimize REST API interfaces.
• Co-create architecture for microservice-based systems.
• Develop integration solutions consolidating data from various sources supporting omnichannel business processes.
• Work with relational databases and optimize data access.
• Improve and maintain CI/CD processes.
• Identify and resolve performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and technical consultations.
• Document key technical solutions.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, and other product development specialists.
• Utilize AI tools in software development to improve tasks and solution quality.

• Work mode: 100% remote or hybrid, 1–2 days per week at the client office in Gdańsk.
