Windows Automation Engineer (Mid)

Motorola Solutions develops technologies supporting public safety agencies worldwide, including the ASTRO 25 communication network used by first responders. The Windows Platform Team focuses on building computing platforms for mission-critical communication systems.

• Administration and deployment experience with Microsoft Windows OS (Server and Client) and Active Directory in an enterprise environment.
• Understanding of programming/scripting concepts such as variables, control structures, loops, and error handling.
• Knowledge of any programming language (e.g., Python, Bash, C#) with willingness to learn PowerShell.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile processes.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking and TLS/PKI concepts.

• Develop and maintain software solutions for automated installation and configuration of Windows Server and Client Operating Systems.
• Design and implement automated solutions to manage complex Active Directory environments for critical communication networks.
• Write clean, scalable scripts for efficient, hands-off system management.
• Collaborate in an agile, global environment to make infrastructure deployment effortless, secure, and reliable.
