Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Citi Solutions Center Poland is transitioning its production support team to a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) model, leveraging SRE principles and the latest technologies including Generative AI. The team focuses on observability, reliability, and resiliency for developer tools within a hybrid working model allowing up to 2 days remote work per week.

• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js (preferred).
• Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and pipeline management.
• Basic understanding of observability principles and SLOs/SLIs.
• Experience using monitoring tools like Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, and AppDynamics.
• Basic working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Understanding of Agile concepts and processes.
• Working or theoretical knowledge of OpenShift, Tekton, and Harness pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Design, implement, and maintain monitoring solutions using tools like Grafana, Kibana, and AppDynamics.
• Define SLOs/SLIs for developer pipeline applications to ensure high availability and performance.
• Proactively identify and resolve application performance bottlenecks.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, JavaScript, or Go to streamline operational tasks.
• Focus on projects related to Generative AI and task automation.
• Take ownership of complex problems and collaborate with the team to drive them to resolution.
• Balance proactive solution-seeking with hands-on incident resolution.
• Analyze system logs and metrics to perform root cause analysis of issues.
• Gain exposure to technologies such as Tekton and Harness on OpenShift.
• Participate in designing SLOs/SLIs to improve application performance.
