B2B DevOps Engineer II

Jamf is an engineering-driven company with a Developer Experience unit focused on providing optimal tools and environments. The team consists of five experienced engineers located in the Czech Republic and Poland, collaborating globally.

• Minimum 2 years experience with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub Actions).
• Minimum 2 years experience in systems administration or similar roles.
• Minimum 2 years experience with operating systems such as Linux, Windows, Mac.
• Minimum 2 years experience in programming languages Python or Golang.
• Minimum 2 years experience using source control tools like Git, Subversion.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation.
• Experience with containerization and Kubernetes.
• Preferred experience using issue tracking software such as Jira.
• Experience in enterprise software development life cycle.
• Experience with enterprise security and hardening practices.
• Experience building and maintaining cloud native services on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like ELK, LogicMonitor, Sumologic.
• Experience with structured databases such as MySQL, DynamoDB.
• Hands-on experience with AI-driven coding assistants like GitHub Copilot.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• Preferred certifications: LPIC-1, LPIC-2, LPIC-3, RHCE, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified Developer Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Associate.

• Maintain and extend Jenkins instances and self-hosted GitHub Actions runners.
• Support GitHub organization administration, including repository access and migrations.
• Configure and manage ECR and Artifactory, including policies and image synchronization.
• Develop and maintain custom tooling in Go for development environment support.
• Manage EKS clusters on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Use configuration as code practices with Terraform and store configurations in GitHub.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain development environment automation and tools.
• Ensure integration of security best practices into system configuration.
• Evaluate, plan, configure, and implement new software services.
• Provide code reviews, velocity estimation, planning input in Agile workflows.
• Work effectively with Product Owners, Development, Cloud, and Delivery teams.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

This role is offered as remote in Poland and only accepts candidates with sponsorship to live and work in Poland.
