Senior Snowflake Architect with AI Data Platform Expertise

DataArt is recruiting for a project called Data Platform Strategy focused on Snowflake, data lake or lakehouse architecture, and strategic platform improvement. The team consists of 10-20 people including data architects, data engineers, analytics specialists, AI practitioners, and business stakeholders. The client is headquartered in California, USA, and the role may require occasional travel including short onsite visits in Europe.

• Deep hands on Snowflake platform expertise
• Experience with Snowflake architecture, scaling, cost and performance optimization, best practices, and governance
• Experience with data platform architecture
• Experience with data lake or lakehouse design
• Experience with data modelling and data quality
• Practical experience applying AI or GenAI on top of a data platform
• Strong communication and stakeholder facing skills
• Ability to run discovery workshops or sessions
• Ability to challenge stakeholders constructively and present initiatives to leadership
• Strategic mindset to assess a data ecosystem and propose concrete initiatives

A valid US work visa—or the ability to obtain one quickly—is required. Occasional travel to client sites (including to Europe) may be required; short business trips (1–2 weeks) may be necessary.
