Software Engineer

EXATEL is a Polish telecommunications company providing comprehensive ICT services to operators, business, and the public sector for 30 years. They conduct R&D in ICT, developing proprietary network devices (SDNbox and SDNcore) and cybersecurity software (TAMA, an anti-DDoS solution).

• Commercial experience as a C++ and/or Python programmer
• Very good knowledge of Linux systems from both development and administration perspectives
• Practical use of Python for proof of concept and rapid prototyping
• Orientation on code quality: knowledge of Clean Code principles, experience with automated tests and code reviews
• Readiness to work in cross-functional Scrum teams
• General knowledge of computer networks (OSI model, TCP/IP, switching, routing, basics of SDN/NFV)
• Interest in IT security
• Openness, flexibility, and ability to think creatively
• Security clearance or willingness to undergo the procedure

• Design, program, and test code in R&D projects for Telco, IT, and Security
• Perform technological research and provide technical recommendations
• Create project documentation
• Execute projects in network products, SDN/NFV, and information security
