С & C++ Embedded Engineer

Our embedded software engineering team develops reliable, high-performance solutions for the home security market, working on camera-based security devices. The team follows agile methodologies including sprint cycles, code reviews, and continuous integration, emphasizing testing, security standards, and cross-team collaboration.

• 5+ years of commercial embedded development experience with expertise in C and C++ (C++17 standard).
• Deep knowledge of RTOS and microcontroller architectures (ARM, RISC-V).
• Proficiency in SDLC including Git, CMake, code reviews, and continuous integration.
• Solid understanding of network programming and multithreading on multicore microcontrollers.
• Expertise with communication interfaces I2C, SPI, UART, and Wi-Fi.
• Experience writing device drivers and libraries.
• Ability to work independently and take project ownership.
• Excellent technical communication skills and collaboration.
• Upper-Intermediate English (B2) proficiency.
• Hands-on experience with hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) and cross-compilation toolchains.

Nice to have:

• Understanding of security protocols and encryption methods.
• Experience with Python for scripting and automation.
• Experience using AI-powered tools to enhance productivity and code quality.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality embedded software in C and C++ for camera-based security devices.
• Debug and resolve complex software, hardware, and network connectivity issues.
• Develop new features and improve existing codebases.
• Optimize software performance for resource-constrained embedded environments.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Collaborate with QA teams on testing strategies.
• Document software designs, APIs, libraries, and troubleshooting procedures.
