Principal/ Director, Data Analytics Consulting for Financial Services

• 15+ years in data, analytics, and technology consulting with leadership experience.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale data and AI transformation programs and advise C-level stakeholders.
• Degree preferred in Computer Science, IT, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.
• Deep knowledge of banking/financial services including data models, processing systems, operating models, and KPIs.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks such as Basel 3.1 / CRR3, BCBS239, AML/AFC, DORA, EU AI Act, and model risk management.
• Expertise with modern data platforms and experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Databricks and other enterprise data platforms.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, governance, lineage, observability, real-time processing, and enterprise-scale data management.
• Ability to translate business challenges into data and AI solutions.
• Experience with Machine Learning, RAG, Agentic Systems, and multimodal AI.
• Understanding AI governance, human oversight, explainability, auditability, and deployment in regulated contexts.
• Experience leading discovery phases, governance frameworks, and complex enterprise data programs.
• Ability to establish target operating models, drive stakeholder alignment, and oversee delivery.
• Strong grounding in computer science fundamentals such as algorithms, data structures, distributed systems.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1) and German skills (B1) are required or beneficial respectively.

• Partner with client executives on Data & AI initiatives including data strategy, enterprise-wide platform builds, and AI transformation.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of Financial Services Data & Analytics offerings.
• Manage RFP/RFQ/RFI responses and related winning strategies.
• Manage Financial Services project portfolio and provide delivery oversight.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships focused on value delivery.
• Lead initial phases of strategic engagements including program vision, team formation, and governance.
• Consult delivery teams on regulatory and compliance requirements including AI-enabled solutions controls.
• Coach and mentor next-generation consultants in Financial Services Data & Analytics.
