Expert IT Analyst

Group Technology at Nordea engineers solutions and directs the bank's transformation by providing a holistic technological view. The Equity DevOps team manages Nordea's equity trading platforms, providing capabilities such as order management, exchange connectivity, risk and position management, and low-latency market making. The role is based in Poland, ideally in the Tricity area or optionally Warsaw, and involves close cooperation with development and trading teams in Stockholm and Copenhagen.

• Business understanding of Order Management Systems (Electronic Trading) in the Capital Markets domain
• Hands-on experience with Python programming language
• Critical thinker with analytical problem-solving skills, good communication, and team collaboration
• Flexibility in handling operations, development, and analysis tasks
• Experience supporting business-critical applications in fast-paced environments
• Basic understanding of application/development lifecycle
• Interest in the backend workings of trading
• Ability to shift priorities and self-manage workload
• Experience with Front Arena or deep knowledge of the equity trading domain
• Knowledge of FIX protocol
• Experience using CI/CD pipelines

Nice to have:

• Intermediate level SQL
• Monitoring experience

• Component upgrades in Front Arena space
• Refining the decoupling of legacy flows (Front Arena)
