Data Annotator for Geospatial / LiDAR project

This role is part of a cutting-edge 3D digital twin project involving mapping and reconstruction of electrical distribution networks.

• Background in GIS, Geodesy, Cartography, Land Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Strong spatial reasoning and ability to navigate 3D environments
• English language proficiency at B2 level
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• PC/laptop with Intel i7-11800H or equivalent/better CPU, dedicated GPU (NVIDIA T1200 or better; RTX 4060 recommended), and 16 GB RAM minimum (32 GB preferred)

Nice to have:

• Basic understanding of power grids (poles, transformers, wires) or prior experience with LiDAR data

• Reconstruct 3D power grid networks using point cloud (LiDAR) and map (GIS) data
• Place 3D objects (poles, lines, conductors) to match real-world physical layouts
• Align original 2D map data with 3D models
• Label high-resolution drone photos to identify grid components and detect structural defects (e.g., equipment damage or wear)
