Data Annotator for Geospatial / LiDAR project

The role involves working on a cutting-edge 3D digital twin project to map and reconstruct electrical distribution networks to prevent power grid failures and manage critical infrastructure globally.

• Background in GIS, Geodesy, Cartography, Land Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Strong spatial reasoning and ease navigating 3D environments
• English proficiency at B2 level for reading instructions, training videos, and effective communication
• High attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn from feedback
• PC/laptop with Intel i7-11800H (or equivalent/better CPU), dedicated GPU (NVIDIA T1200 or better; RTX 4060 recommended), minimum 16 GB RAM (32 GB preferred)

Nice to have:

• Basic understanding of power grids (poles, transformers, wires)
• Prior experience with LiDAR data

• Reconstruct 3D power grid networks using point cloud (LiDAR) and map (GIS) data
• Place 3D objects (poles, lines, conductors) to match real-world physical layouts
• Align original 2D map data with 3D models
• Label high-resolution drone photos to identify grid components and detect structural defects such as equipment damage or wear
