FinCrime Analyst (External Enquiries) - Romanian

Revolut is a financial technology company with a mission to provide more visibility, control, and freedom over money. Since 2015, it has grown its product suite to serve over 80 million customers worldwide. The Financial Crime Operations team works to keep customers and their money safe by detecting and preventing financial crime.

• Bachelor's degree (with certificate)
• Fluency in Romanian (C2) and English (C1+)
• 2+ years of FinCrime experience, or 1+ year experience dealing with external law enforcement and government agencies
• Familiarity with investigative methodologies using analytical tools (e.g., spreadsheets, filters, pivots, network charts)
• Knowledge of court orders, DPA, PO, and preparing witness statements
• Confidence communicating at all levels internally and externally
• Critical thinking skills
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work well under pressure

Nice to have:

• Fluency in other languages
• Degree in law or STEM subject
• Professional certification (ICA or ACAMS)

• Liaise with law enforcement and the Legal team as necessary
• Respond to court orders, DPAs, and POs, complying with legislation such as POCA and DPA
• Ensure requests are completed within applicable timelines
• Prepare documentation for third-party requests
• Conduct fraud-related investigations based on reports received
• Generate reports and create alerts for suspicious activity
• Discuss financial crime concerns with stakeholders across departments

• Fluency in Romanian (C2) and English (C1+) is required
