Senior Product Manager (XDR) - Security Solutions

Elastic is a company specializing in search and AI technology, offering cloud-based solutions for search, security, and observability. Its platform is used by more than 50% of the Fortune 500 companies. Elastic Security focuses on building advanced detection and response products, with the Elastic XDR product being a key area of development.

• At least 5 years in security-related technical product management, competitive analysis, or technical marketing, plus a minimum of 3 years in product development or a related technical field.
• Hands-on knowledge of XDR, EDR, SIEM, incident response, or forensics either as a product manager or practitioner.
• Experience with products reliant on heterogeneous third-party data and broad telemetry integrations.
• Solid understanding of analytics techniques behind detection and prioritization and of the current cyber threat landscape.
• Technical credibility to be respected by engineering teams and to judge feasibility and scope.
• Comfortable representing the product to security customers including senior stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex detection and exposure concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience using AI tools for synthesis, research, and delivery in workflows.
• Experience working cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or information security.
• Robust interest in cybersecurity and attention to detail with the ability to understand the bigger picture.

• Own a core area of the XDR roadmap end to end, driving detection, correlation, incident building, and response capabilities across endpoint, cloud, identity, and network.
• Expand and maintain the telemetry and integrations XDR depends on, including first-party Elastic data and third-party EDR, cloud, identity, and network sources.
• Contribute to Elastic's exposure and vulnerability management efforts, prioritizing based on exploitability and reachability, and manage remediation workflows.
• Write clear requirements engineering can act on without need for follow-up clarification.
• Represent the product in customer conversations with senior security stakeholders and incorporate feedback into the roadmap.
• Ensure capabilities work across deployment models including cloud, on-premises, and air-gapped environments.
• Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape and go-to-market strategies.
• Create artifacts such as roadmap trackers and decision memos to keep stakeholders informed without requiring meetings.
