Senior Google Cloud Data Engineer

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in Big Data.
• Proficiency in SQL and/or Python.
• Background in data warehousing, data pipelines, distributed data processing, software engineering components, and data modeling concepts.
• Analytical problem-solving skills for big data environments.
• Experience working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
• Strong experience in design techniques for relational databases and non-relational storage.
• Strong experience with Data Marts, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and Data Mesh concepts.
• Very good English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, as well as DevOps and CI/CD principles.

Nice to have:

• French language proficiency at B1 level.
• Knowledge of data formats: Parquet, ORC, Avro.
• Familiarity with emerging concepts like Deltalake, Apache Hudi, and Iceberg.

• Solve complex business problems on a large scale.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives and collaborate across various domains.
• Interact with engineers, product/project managers, and partners globally.
• Build data platforms and robust solutions on GCP and BigQuery.
