Business Analyst

Scalo is a company delivering software projects and supporting partners in business development using a wide range of IT services including technology consulting, software creation, embedded systems, cloud solutions, data management, and dedicated project teams.

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT with at least 3 years in business analysis
• Experience in large-scale ERP system implementations
• Experience analyzing business processes in logistics, warehouse, asset management, fleet, finance, projects, HR, or legal areas
• Experience in business analysis using Microsoft technologies (SharePoint 2019, SharePoint Subscription Edition, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse)
• Experience in business analysis with ServiceNow platform modules (Enterprise Asset Management, Strategic Portfolio Management, Customer Service Management) in on-premises and cloud environments
• Participation in at least one full software solution lifecycle
• Knowledge of business process modeling using BPMN notation
• Experience in requirements gathering and user story analysis
• Knowledge of UML notation
• Proficient in modeling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, ARIS Architect or equivalents
• Ability to create and maintain analytical and design documentation
• Highly developed analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Higher education degree at least at Bachelors level
• Possession of at least one of: Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA), Certified UML Professional, BPM 2 Fundamental Level, or equivalent internationally recognized certificate
• English language proficiency at C1 level confirmed by certificate

• Model and document value chains/streams, business processes, roles, capabilities, and data
• Gather and analyze business needs, requirements, and user stories
• Support business experts and Product Owners in defining requirements and software creation
• Maintain and track requirements and user stories throughout the system lifecycle
• Translate business needs, user needs, and technical requirements into business specification
• Map business goals, project benefits, priorities, system components, and functionalities
• Analyze available systems and support identification of potential solution variants
• Assist in preparing business cases and feasibility analyses
• Participate in system design, testing, quality assurance, and change management
• Design, validate, and test business processes to achieve process excellence
• Support preparation and execution of training activities related to upcoming changes
• Collaborate with end-to-end process owners to continuously identify process improvement opportunities
• Identify improvements to business processes to enhance customer service, reduce costs, or increase revenue
• Communicate project goals, business cases, requirements, and scope to stakeholders for prompt business responses
• Perform quantitative business process analysis including cost-benefit and what-if analyses
• Plan and support organizational change implementation
• Implement systems monitoring business process effectiveness
• Support business users in developing strategic and tactical plans
• Support defining business architecture transformation plans
