Senior Platform Engineer

• Over 6 years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps engineering, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, Kubernetes (GKE/EKS), and Terraform.
• Proven ability to build and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure.
• Software engineering fundamentals with coding proficiency in Go, Typescript, or other relevant languages.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Argo CD and Atlantis.
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Self-organized, goal-oriented, and capable of working effectively in remote and distributed teams.
• Prior experience specifically in platform engineering projects.

• Function as an individual contributor collaborating through code reviews, mentorship, and technical direction alignment.
• Architect, design, and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform with reusable modules and rigorous testing.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters on GCP (GKE) and AWS (EKS), including network policies, service meshes, and upgrades.
• Develop and maintain internal CI/CD software delivery systems integrating tools like Argo CD or Atlantis.
• Diagnose and resolve platform issues including performance, scalability, and security vulnerabilities.
• Drive automation to streamline operations, provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand infrastructure needs and translate them into platform features.
• Participate in full software development lifecycle of internal tools and APIs to enhance platform usability.
• Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance with standards such as SOC 2 and GDPR, including conducting security audits and penetration testing.

This role is remote and open as a full-time position for candidates in the UK, Ireland, Estonia, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Israel. Contractors from Eastern Europe and Portugal are also considered.
