Senior Platform Engineer

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with proven hands-on coding experience.
• 6+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or related roles with complex cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, Kubernetes (GKE, EKS), and Terraform.
• Expertise in building scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure focusing on automation.
• Coding proficiency in Go or Typescript, including data structures, algorithms, and defensive programming.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Argo CD, Atlantis, or similar.
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Self-organized, goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a remote distributed team.
• Prior experience on platform engineering projects.

• Function as an individual contributor within the team, collaborating through code reviews and mentorship.
• Architect, design, and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform with best software engineering practices.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters on GCP (GKE) and AWS (EKS).
• Develop and refine internal software delivery systems (CI/CD) integrating tools like Argo CD or Atlantis.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve platform-related issues including performance, scalability, and security.
• Drive automation initiatives to streamline operational tasks and enhance system reliability.
• Act as a strategic partner to development teams by understanding and addressing infrastructure needs.
• Drive development of internal platform products and services through the full software development lifecycle.
• Implement and enforce security best practices and ensure compliance with standards like SOC 2 and GDPR.
