Senior Backend Engineer (Payments)

• Extensive experience as a Java Engineer with strong core knowledge (Java 8+)
• Proven expertise in multithreading and high-load systems
• Solid SQL knowledge and database optimization skills
• Strong experience with Docker (docker swarm) and containerization
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with production monitoring tools (metrics, alerts, monitoring, profiling)
• Good English communication skills in speaking and writing
• Experience with SPA and modern mobile and web technologies

Nice to have:

• Experience with Clickhouse, GCP, Kafka ecosystem, ElasticSearch, Ebean, Protobuf, InfluxDB/Grafana, Google Services integration, or wallet service maintenance

• Write well-designed, testable, and scalable code promptly
• Participate in the full development cycle from sprint planning to release
• Ensure smooth collaboration between development teams and product owners
• Build and maintain high-load systems handling massive scale
• Troubleshoot production issues using metrics, alerts, monitoring, and profiling tools
• Contribute to scaling and automation initiatives
