Senior Software / Platform Engineer (IR-549)

• Strong software engineering foundation with proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming (OOP) patterns.
• Solid hands-on experience within the AWS ecosystem and working with Kubernetes.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code particularly using Pulumi (in TypeScript). Knowledge of Terraform is a plus.
• Problem-solving mindset driven by curiosity and a proactive approach to resolve issues without waiting for instructions.

• Backfill day-to-day operations by troubleshooting and resolving bugs in the Java backend application.
• Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for AWS using Pulumi (in TypeScript), applying solid Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Support the database modernization team with specific tasks such as creating and running load-testing scripts for the new AWS Aurora database.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes environments and handle reactive platform tickets to free up the internal core team.
