Senior Data Engineer (IR-548)

• Strong expertise in dbt Core, including establishing best practices, structuring models, and running dbt in production
• Deep knowledge of AWS Redshift and columnar database optimization
• Strong SQL proficiency, with ability to understand legacy T-SQL (SQL Server) logic and rewrite it into modern Redshift SQL

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) due to some client reporting layers interacting with it

• Develop and maintain dbt models leveraging existing Redshift pipelines
• Analyze, deconstruct, and migrate legacy T-SQL stored procedures into modular, optimized Redshift SQL models using dbt
• Architect the dbt project structure and provide technical guidance on data modeling strategies to the engineering team
• Execute and optimize batch data transformation workflows within Redshift
