UI/UX Designer

Belmoney is a Belgian fintech company operating in the international money transfer (remittance) space.

• 3+ years of commercial experience in UI/UX or Product Design
• Strong portfolio demonstrating both UX and UI design skills
• Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles
• Experience designing responsive web applications and/or mobile products
• Strong knowledge of tools such as Figma
• Ability to create clear user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready interfaces
• Good understanding of accessibility and responsive design principles
• Strong attention to detail and visual design skills
• Ability to work closely with Product and Engineering teams
• English proficiency sufficient for daily work communication
• Willingness to relocate to Madrid (Alcobendas), Spain - required

Nice to have:

• Experience with design systems and component libraries
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing
• Experience working with analytics and product data to inform design decisions
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and frontend development
• Experience working in an agile product environment
• Experience with fintech, payments, or banking

• Design user experiences and interfaces across digital products
• Translate business and customer needs into clear, intuitive user flows and interfaces
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
• Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers throughout product development
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions
• Improve existing user journeys based on feedback, data, and usability insights
• Build and maintain a consistent design system and UI patterns
• Prepare designs and specifications for development and collaborate with engineers during implementation
• Contribute to product discovery and early-stage concept development
• Help establish and maintain UX/UI best practices across the product team
