Senior Fullstack Developer (Java)

IT Factory is a dynamic company with experience in development, implementation, and support of IT solutions for a major Polish insurance and finance company.

• Minimum 7 years of commercial experience programming in Java
• Very good knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA
• Very good knowledge of Apache Kafka
• Very good knowledge of SQL
• Knowledge of Angular
• Experience in designing and developing microservices
• Experience in designing and implementing REST APIs
• Experience creating unit and integration tests
• Ability to use AI tools supporting software development processes
• Readiness to work hybrid with at least one day per week in the office in Warsaw and provision of services from the territory of Poland

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Playwright
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ and Elasticsearch
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Knowledge of IT Security topics
• Experience in CI/CD
• Experience mentoring programmers or in a Technical Leader role

• Build and develop systems in microservice and monolithic architectures supporting claims reporting and handling processes
• Design, implement, and maintain APIs and system integrations
• Participate in system solution design and implementation of functional and non-functional requirements
• Improve business processes by delivering efficient and scalable IT solutions
• Ensure high software quality through automated test development, engineering best practices, and code quality
• Actively use AI tools and Agentic AI approaches for requirements analysis, implementation, testing, and maintenance
• Conduct and participate in code reviews using modern tools supporting code quality and security
• Participate in scrum events and collaborate within an agile multidisciplinary team
• Co-create software development standards and the use of AI in software development processes
