Frontend Engineer

Brack.Alltron Service AG is seeking a Frontend Developer to work on innovative frontend solutions for online shops, contributing to brand awareness and customer loyalty.

• Minimum 3 years of practical frontend development experience, preferably in e-commerce.
• Excellent knowledge of TypeScript, React, modern HTML, and CSS (including SASS/LESS, CSS-in-JS, or Tailwind).
• Advantageous: Knowledge of Flutter and Dart, with understanding of mobile development concepts to collaborate with mobile developers.
• Familiarity with architectural concepts like Micro-Frontends, Domain Driven Design (DDD), or Self-Contained Systems.
• Experience handling REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Broad experience with CI/CD tools, container technologies such as Docker, and agile methodologies.
• Strong commitment to Clean Code, testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Playwright), and technical documentation.
• Strong communication skills, openness to feedback, and cooperative working style.
• Active engagement in developer communities and willingness to bring new knowledge and innovations to the team.

Technical Responsibility & Development:

• Analyze, design, and implement new features for online shops from idea to live deployment.
• Develop performant, reusable components using React and TypeScript, ensuring pixel-perfect implementation of UI/UX designs.
• Facilitate professional exchange with the App Team using knowledge or interest in Flutter for consistent cross-platform user journeys.
• Conduct code reviews promoting Clean Code and Test-Driven Development.
• Identify technical debt and propose reduction measures.

Quality Assurance & Best Practices:

• Ensure high development standards including Unit, Integration, and E2E testing and maintain technical documentation.
• Optimize web application performance focusing on Core Web Vitals and accessibility (a11y).
• Support maintenance and optimization of frontend build pipelines and test environments.

Collaboration & Planning:

• Collaborate with product management and team to specify requirements, estimate development efforts, and implement solutions.
• Participate in technology direction decisions and suggest tools and frameworks within the React ecosystem.

Operations & Infrastructure:

• Support operation and monitoring of developed applications (Monitoring, Error Tracking).
• Drive continuous improvements in CI/CD processes for the frontend.
