Senior Fullstack Developer (Java, Angular, Kafka)

Awareson Sp. z o.o. is executing a strategic transformational project for the insurance industry. The project involves developing a modern ecosystem supporting claims handling and benefits, based on microservice and event-driven architecture, automation, and AI solutions.

• Minimum 7 years of commercial experience in Java
• Very good knowledge of Spring Framework and Spring Boot
• Very good knowledge of Hibernate/JPA
• Very good knowledge of Apache Kafka
• Very good knowledge of SQL
• Knowledge of Angular
• Experience designing and developing microservices
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs
• Experience creating unit and integration tests
• Practical knowledge of AI tools supporting software development

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Playwright
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Knowledge of RabbitMQ and Elasticsearch
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Knowledge of IT Security concepts
• Experience in CI/CD
• Experience mentoring developers or acting as a Technical Leader

• Design, develop, and maintain systems using microservice and monolithic architectures
• Design and develop REST APIs and integrations between systems
• Implement functional and non-functional requirements
• Develop scalable solutions for high-transaction volume systems
• Create and maintain unit and integration tests
• Participate in code reviews
• Use AI tools and Agentic AI approaches in the software development process
• Participate in Scrum events
• Co-create standards for software development and AI utilization
• Share knowledge and continuously improve solutions
