Senior Backend Engineer

• Thrive in fast-paced, customer-feedback-driven environments with empathy for end-users.
• Make data-driven, metric-based decisions and lead initiatives to completion.
• Expertise in microservice architecture, API design, and distributed high-volume systems.
• Strong principles for writing clean, secure, maintainable, readable, and testable code.
• Experience with cloud systems (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and relational databases.
• Familiarity with real-time and asynchronous systems and highly available infrastructure is a plus.

• Architect, design, develop, and deploy Bolt's backend systems.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Lead features and initiatives from concept through execution.
• Work closely with Product to manage scope and deliver incrementally.
• Provide ideas and feedback for product development roadmap.
• Share knowledge via tech talks and promote engineering best practices.
