(Cybersecurity) QA/Manual Tester

• 3+ years of experience as a Manual QA Tester / Software Tester in an Agile software development environment.
• Strong knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience designing and executing manual tests for web applications and REST APIs.
• Experience with functional and regression testing.
• Good understanding of REST and HTTP protocols.
• Experience with Agile delivery processes and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Git.
• Experience with test management tools such as qTest, Tricentis, or Zephyr.
• Ability to analyse application logs and perform initial defect triage.
• Experience working with cloud environments, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Agile/DevOps or DevSecOps software delivery practices.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills with ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage assigned activities, and drive testing tasks to completion.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to continuously learn and share knowledge with others.

Nice to have:

• ISTQB certification.
• Experience with SAFe or Scrum.
• Experience in performance testing.
• Knowledge of vulnerability scanning and application security testing, including SAST, DAST, or MAST.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL.
• Experience creating process flow diagrams or UML diagrams.
• Experience improving testing or software delivery processes.
• Understanding of Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) processes.

• Design and execute manual tests for web applications and REST APIs.
• Prepare and maintain test scenarios, test cases, test plans, and other QA documentation.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Work with Product Owners and development teams to define clear and testable acceptance criteria.
• Support testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in defining test strategies and planning testing activities for new features and application changes.
• Identify, document, and track defects, including performing initial investigation and triage.
• Analyse application logs to identify potential issues and support defect investigation.
• Provide test scenarios and requirements for automated and performance testing.
• Maintain QA metrics, test documentation, and test environments.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, workshops, and discussions related to product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure successful delivery.
• Continuously improve testing processes and share knowledge and best practices with the team.
