Middle/Senior Ruby on Rails Developer

Loadar is a small, seed funded team based in Northern Ireland, working in the logistics domain to improve road freight procurement using live bidding, automation, and data. Their customers include some of Europe's largest manufacturers, and they are expanding in the US.

• 3+ years building and running production Ruby on Rails applications
• Good PostgreSQL and data modelling skills
• Experience building APIs and integrating with third-party systems
• Comfortable working across backend and frontend, handling features end-to-end
• Ability to own problems independently without close supervision
• Good written and spoken English skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with logistics or supply chain products
• Experience with ERP integrations
• Experience with Heroku or AWS
• Experience working at an early-stage product company

• Work on procurement workflows including tenders and live bidding with carriers
• Develop load execution features such as bookings, carrier updates, and dock scheduling
• Integrate with customers' ERP systems including SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle
• Build reporting and analytics for customers to manage logistics
• Ensure performance, security, and reliability as the platform grows
