Senior Java Developer

This role is focused on developing modern solutions for the insurance sector.

• Minimum 5 years of experience programming in Java
• Strong knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate
• Practical experience with Apache Kafka
• Proficient in SQL
• Experience creating unit and integration tests and familiarity with JUnit, TestNG, Spock, Testcontainers, and WireMock
• Knowledge and practical application of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Comfortable with Object-Oriented Programming and Functional Programming paradigms
• Familiarity with application containerization and experience with process engines and BPMN notation
• Understanding of resilience patterns and mechanisms for services in distributed systems
• Ability to diagnose and analyze application performance problems using appropriate tools

Nice to have:

• Experience using AI agents and Agentic AI tools in software development
• Experience with cloud technologies
• Knowledge of Angular and frontend development
• Experience in projects for insurance or financial sectors

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications in Java using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate
• Design and implement scalable and resilient distributed systems, including integrations with Apache Kafka
• Develop solutions following Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles and good software design practices
• Implement unit and integration tests using tools like JUnit, TestNG, Spock, Testcontainers, and WireMock
• Analyze and optimize application performance; diagnose issues and apply resilience mechanisms
• Utilize modern AI technologies, including Agentic AI, in software design and development processes
