DevSecOps Engineer

Directio is a global IT services company providing consulting, coding, testing, deployment, and around-the-clock support of mainly cloud-based and mobile applications. • 5+ years of professional experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or similar roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes/AKS in production, including cluster building, pipeline creation, upgrades, and production support.
• Hands-on experience in security engineering with ownership of security-related processes.
• Experience with ISO 27001 technical aspects or equivalent security frameworks and managing vulnerability management processes end-to-end.
• Practical knowledge of security tooling and practices including external attack surface monitoring, DAST, SAST, SCA, secrets scanning, container scanning, and cloud security posture management.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automation.
• Scripting and automation skills using Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Ability to document technical processes and security controls and communicate technical topics clearly to customers, security teams, and auditors.
• Ability to independently prioritize tasks and take ownership in a small, senior team environment.
• Fluency in English.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Estonian or German.
• Experience working with enterprise or banking customers and supporting customer security audits.
• Experience supporting security certification programmes.
• Experience working on migration projects from monolithic architectures to services.

• Run and maintain the platform alongside the team, working with Azure, AKS, deployments, upgrades, incident response, and on-call support.
• Build and operate infrastructure for migration from monolithic architecture to services, including environments, CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, and alerting.
• Manage external attack surface, maintain inventory of internet-facing assets, monitor exposures, and address vulnerabilities.
• Integrate security into Azure DevOps and Kubernetes pipelines, including code, dependency, secrets, container, and Infrastructure as Code scanning.
• Establish and maintain Azure and Microsoft 365 security baseline, including identity and access management, MFA, cloud security posture, Microsoft Defender, and access management processes.
• Manage vulnerability management process end-to-end, including identifying vulnerabilities, coordinating fixes, validating remediation, and maintaining evidence.
• Manage technical security controls supporting ISO 27001 certification in collaboration with compliance lead.
• Provide technical input for customer security questionnaires, audits, and liaise with customers and auditors.
• Support penetration testing activities by defining scope, coordinating tests, and ensuring findings are addressed.
• Automate operational and security processes, improving platform reliability and security continuously.
