Technical Product & Automotive Data Specialist

Autofixer is a fast-growing automotive e-commerce operating in multiple European markets. The team focuses on developing automated solutions that connect products, vehicles, technical data, OE numbers, manufacturer catalogs, TecDoc/TecAlliance data, and other external sources.

• Very good knowledge of the automotive parts market.
• Experience with TecDoc/TecAlliance.
• Understanding of TecDoc data structure and part-to-vehicle relationships.
• Knowledge of OE numbers, replacements, applications, fitment criteria, and technical product data.
• Understanding of API concepts and ability to read technical API documentation.
• Familiarity with REST API, requests/responses, endpoints, parameters, identifiers, and data structures.
• Proficiency with JSON, XML, and CSV data formats.
• Understanding database structures and relationships between data.
• Ability to analyze large data sets to find errors or dependencies.
• Ability to technically describe problems to developers.
• Ability to independently seek data and acquisition methods, knowing that solutions for millions of products require automation, algorithms, or integration rather than manual work.
• Not a programmer but highly technical.

Nice to have:

• Practical knowledge of SQL, basics of Python, Postman, API tools, web scraping, Elasticsearch, PIM, or other systems handling large product catalogs.
• Experience working at automotive parts manufacturers, distributors, large ecommerce automotive, data providers, or systems using TecDoc/TecAlliance.

• Working with data from TecAlliance/TecDoc, manufacturer catalogs, and other automotive databases.
• Analyzing data structures related to products, vehicles, applications, engines, technical parameters, and fitment criteria.
• Developing product-to-vehicle-to-application mappings including installation conditions.
• Analyzing OE numbers, replacements, cross-references, and product relationships.
• Collecting and integrating data from multiple sources.
• Working with REST API, data feeds, and formats including CSV, XML, and JSON.
• Analyzing API documentation and determining usable data and integration methods.
• Testing API endpoints and analyzing transmitted data structures.
• Designing data mapping between external sources and internal catalogs.
• Examining identifiers, relationships, category structures, and data dictionaries across systems.
• Extracting, cleaning, transforming, and merging large data sets.
• Searching for new technical and product data sources.
• Obtaining data from manufacturer websites and other services, including web scraping where appropriate.
• Creating rules for automatic classification, enrichment, and correction of data.
• Detecting incorrect, missing, or ambiguous product-vehicle connections.
• Collaborating with developers on solutions for catalog, search, filtering, fitment, and recommendations.
