Senior UI Designer

intent is a company designing and co-creating connected devices since 2008, including wearables, smart audio, and health-tech hardware for clients like Oura, BOSE, and McIntosh, backed by investors like a16z and Founders Fund. The company has 60+ people, operates fully remote with an office in Warsaw, and focuses on AI-native design workflows.

• Minimum 4 years of commercial UI design experience, including significant contributions to at least four native iOS or Android mobile app projects.
• Advanced Figma skills, including design systems built on components and auto-layouts.
• Hands-on experience designing interfaces for IoT and connected devices.
• Strong portfolio of visually rich work.
• Solid knowledge of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and Android platform guidelines.
• Experience with motion and animation beyond static screens.
• Excellent aesthetic sense with ambition to create beautiful and useful apps.
• Very good English (C1 level) for communication with mostly US-based clients.
• Confidence in presenting designs and attending pre-sales client calls.
• Initiative, ownership, and clear communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience designing for wearables, health-tech, or smart audio.
• Basics of Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience with motion design tools such as After Effects, Rive, or Lottie.

• Conduct UI direction workshops to translate client vision and branding into clear product UI direction for mobile apps.
• Create design systems, high-fidelity mockups, micro-animations, and prototypes primarily for native iOS and Android apps.
• Design interfaces that integrate software with hardware, including pairing flows, device status, and sensor data visualization.
• Support projects from initial design stages through final production in collaboration with developers, QA, and PMs.
• Develop branding and create graphic materials to enhance digital recognition.
• Experiment with new ideas, trends, and tools, establishing team standards.
• Share knowledge internally and externally through chapter sessions, tech talks, and the design community.
• Incorporate AI tools into daily workflow.
