• 3+ years of production Android development experience
• Strong Kotlin proficiency
• Hands-on experience with BLE integration
• Experience with Jetpack Compose in production
• Familiarity with libraries such as Koin and Hilt
• Unit testing discipline with tools like JUnit, Mockito, Robolectric and a TDD mindset
• English proficiency at B2+ level, both written and spoken
• Creative problem-solving mindset over quantity of code
• High coding standards and awareness of Android ecosystem updates
• Initiative, ownership, and clear communication

Nice to have:

• Solid grasp of architecture and design patterns
• Previous experience with IoT or connected device projects
• Knowledge of functional reactive programming (Flow, RxJava)
• Experience with Google Play releases and Android Auto
• Agile or Scrum delivery experience
• Some experience with Flutter
• Genuine curiosity about the physical devices behind the code

• Design, build, and maintain Android apps that communicate with hardware peripherals over BLE
• Write performant, reusable, and reliable Kotlin code
• Specify, plan, and estimate new modules and features
• Cover code with unit tests and maintain a TDD mindset
• Review pull requests and provide constructive feedback
• Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs, including device/OEM specific issues
• Share knowledge through tech talks, documentation, and pair programming
• Use AI tools as an integral part of daily workflow
