Java Developer

Consid is the employer offering a position in the telecommunications domain for their client's Automation team on a long-term project.

• 4–7 years hands-on with Java (8–17) and strong knowledge of Spring Boot (3.x)/Spring 6.x.
• Experience with microservices architecture and REST API design and implementation.
• Practical experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS/IAM.
• Proficiency in modern CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Docker.
• Experience with Kubernetes for deployment and operations; knowledge of EKS and Helm is a plus.
• Expertise in messaging systems: required RabbitMQ, plus Kafka as a bonus.
• Strong testing skills with JUnit 5, Mockito; familiarity with Spock/BDD.
• Database experience with Oracle SQL including performance tuning, and familiarity with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of caching technologies like Redis/Hazelcast and resilience patterns (e.g., Resilience4j).
• Understanding of security practices: OAuth2/JWT, input validation, and OWASP Top 10.
• Monitoring and observability using ELK stack (Elastic, Kibana) and optionally Splunk.
• Comfortable with Linux and Windows environments; experience with Jira and Confluence.

• Design, build, and operate Spring Boot microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Implement event-driven patterns integrating with services via RabbitMQ and optionally Kafka.
• Own services end-to-end including CI/CD, observability, performance, reliability, and security.
• Deploy and run workloads on AWS and Kubernetes, using infrastructure as code and GitOps practices.
• Ensure quality with TDD/BDD, unit tests, contract tests, and continuous delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document decisions, APIs, and runbooks clearly.

Hybrid working mode with onsite presence at the Consid office 2–3 times per week. Contract type is B2B. English language proficiency at C1 level preferred.
