SoftNet Network Engineer

SoftNet maintains infrastructure supporting a platform used by over 100 cooperative banks in Poland, focusing on network solutions that ensure data security, system stability, and reliable service for thousands of users.

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with networks.
• Proficient knowledge of Ansible.
• Fluent working knowledge of Cisco technologies including routing, switching, and firewalls.
• Knowledge and practical understanding of BGP and OSPF protocols.
• Ability to analyze problems and propose effective solutions.
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment.

Nice to have:

• Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP).
• Basic automation skills using Python and Ansible.

• Shape network architecture in a structured environment by making technical decisions and developing solutions based on Cisco.
• Manage and develop network infrastructure in practice, including configuring Cisco solutions and maintaining secure VPN connections.
• Monitor network performance and optimize operations focusing on durable solutions instead of quick fixes.
• Collaborate directly with technical teams, operating at the intersection of infrastructure and applications.
• Develop competencies working according to high security standards, compliance requirements, and IT best practices in the regulated banking sector.
• Contribute to team culture and work processes in a company with about 140 employees.
