E-File (E-Akte) Consultant/ECM Expert with German

YourITeams is seeking an expert to support large-scale digitalisation initiatives in the German public sector by designing and implementing Electronic Records Management (E-Akte) solutions.

• Proven experience with E-Akte implementations; hands-on experience with Fabasoft is mandatory.
• Advanced German language skills (minimum B2/C1) to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of records management principles, relevant legal/regulatory frameworks and public-sector requirements.
• Experience in requirements analysis, solution design, configuration and roll-out of ECM systems.
• Good communication skills and experience delivering training and stakeholder workshops.
• Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams across project phases.
• Relevant professional certifications or degree in information management, IT, public administration or related field is advantageous.

• Lead the design and implementation of E-Akte / electronic records management solutions, ensuring alignment with legal and operational requirements.
• Configure and customise Fabasoft or comparable ECM platforms to meet project needs.
• Analyse current business processes and identify opportunities for digitisation and process optimisation.
• Develop and document solution architectures, functional specifications and implementation plans.
• Coordinate roll-out activities, including testing, data migration and go-live support.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to users and administrators, and produce clear user documentation.
• Support change management activities and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful adoption.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, external vendors and public-sector clients to deliver project milestones on time.
