Product Owner

IT Factory is a dynamic company experienced in the development, implementation, and support of IT solutions for a major Polish company in the insurance/financial industry.

• Minimum 3 years experience as Product Owner in the insurance industry
• Implemented at least 3 commercial products (at least one in insurance)
• Strong knowledge of Scrum and PO role with stable Scrum Team cooperation
• Advanced backlog management and prioritization based on business value
• Writing complete User Stories and dividing requirements into releasable elements
• Knowledge of tools: Jira, Confluence, Miro
• Design and monitor product metrics (TTM, ROI, revenue, KPI, OKR, NPS)
• Good understanding of technology (systems, API, integrations) and assessing impact of tech decisions on product
• Ability to lead discovery phase (research, workshops, needs analysis)
• Strong skills in decision making, negotiation, conflict resolution including in uncertainty
• Building stakeholder relationships and managing expectations
• Change management and working with resistance
• Agile/Scrum certification (e.g., PSPO II or equivalent)
• English language proficiency minimum B2

Nice to have:

• Collaboration with UX and understanding design processes
• Basics of SQL / log analysis
• Facilitation of workshops (story mapping, event storming)
• Knowledge of GA4 or similar analytics tools
• Approach based on A/B testing, experiments, and conversion optimization
• Advanced Agile/Scaling certifications (PSM II, SAFe, LeSS)
• Use of AI in backlog and product needs management

• Define and realize product vision and roadmap aligned with business goals
• Manage product backlog and prioritize based on business value
• Make product decisions and manage trade-offs (time/cost/scope/quality)
• Lead discovery phase and product development based on user needs and data
• Manage stakeholders and influence product direction
• Monitor execution and optimize business value delivered
• Define and analyze product metrics (KPI/OKR/NPS)
• Collaborate with IT teams considering technological constraints
• Manage change and resolve conflicts between business and IT
• Own the success of end-to-end product implementations
