Senior Engineer - Instrumentation

Our client is a global technology leader developing advanced solutions for the energy transition, focusing on decarbonization, optimized fuel and chemical production, and cleaner air. The company has around 2800 employees worldwide and is expanding its European footprint with a new competence hub in Kraków.

• Hands-on experience in instrumentation sizing and selection (Conval/Engineering Base preferred).
• Knowledge of functional safety, including preliminary SIL assessment.
• Experience in procurement, inspection, and installation of field instruments.
• Good understanding of control systems.
• Familiarity with ISO, API, ISA, IEC/IES, CE, and NEC standards.
• Strong communication skills; comfortable working in multicultural environments with willingness to travel.
• 10-15 years of experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering – Instrumentation, Electrical, or equivalent.

• Preparing and checking Instrumentation engineering deliverables such as Instrument index, I/O list, hook-up diagrams, and Instrumentation datasheets for Level, Pressure, Temperature, Flow instruments, Control valves, and PSV sizing.
• Preparing and checking Complex Loop diagrams, Cause and effect diagrams, and reviewing Detail engineering documents.
• Participating in P&ID Review, HAZOP, and SIL assessments/verification.
• Acting as site advisor for standard Topsoe project scope sites.
• Inspecting instrumentation items like Thermocouples, FAT, and SAT of control systems.
