Software Engineer, Content AI

We are hiring on behalf of our client, a global innovator in fitness and wellness technology, aiming to empower people to live fit, strong, long, and happy lives by delivering integrated experiences to millions of members anytime, anywhere.

• 3+ years of software development experience building backend cloud application systems.
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field.
• Strong experience with Kotlin or Python, or similar backend programming languages.
• Experience with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot, Bottle, Gunicorn, or similar JVM/Python frameworks.
• Experience designing and building APIs using REST, gRPC, or GraphQL.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure tooling such as Terraform, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, production troubleshooting, observability, security, performance optimization, and scalable backend design.

• Develop and maintain scalable backend APIs and microservices powering search, voice, subtitles, captions, translations, and content workflows.
• Build services with emphasis on high availability, low latency, security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with ML Engineers to integrate hosted NLP, ASR, and AI models into backend systems.
• Write clean, well-tested code and contribute to reusable libraries and engineering standards.
• Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and improve services in distributed cloud environments.
• Use monitoring, tracing, profiling, and load-testing tools to optimize performance.
• Apply data modeling, query optimization, caching, logging, and observability practices.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, TPMs, engineering leads, and stakeholders in sprint planning, delivery, and production support.
